Roasting + Brewing Workshop


*This will be limited to 5 people per class*


Experience a 3 hour educational roastery visit @ the WCC Roastery.

We will explore & discover green bean sourcing, quality control pre & post roasting. Attendees will have the experience of roasting their own coffee with the head roaster, which they can enjoy at home. We will also showcase the wide variety of home brewing methods & the different variations that can be implemented to achieve your preferred brew. We will also practice espresso extraction & fine tune some latte art skills :)

3 hours include;

  • Detailed introduction into green bean sourcing & quality control.

  • Sample roasting on the latest technology, the Pro Ikawa Sample roaster.

  • Sample roasting on our production profile roaster.

  • Roasting on our Giesen w6a production roaster.

  • Exploring home brewing methods + espresso/milk preparation

  • Cupping/tasting 8+ coffees & discovering the differences between process/roasting/origin.

  • Understanding Espresso extraction & TDS using a refractometer.

  • Analysing roast levels using the latest technology.

  • Each attendee will take home a sample pack of 4 different coffees (50g WholeBean). A bag of their own roasted coffee (250g) and a WCC tote bag.
